The Staff of St Martins Exminster

The Reverend John Williams

Born in Kent, the Rev Williams has spent most of his life here in Devon. Following his ordination in 1987 he served in Churches in Paignton and Exeter before moving to Exminster in 2001. He is now responsible for the parish of Exminster, which includes overseeing St Andrew’s Kenn, All Saints Kenton, St Clement’s Powderham and St Martins Exminster.

Faith Wood

Faith moved to Exminster from Kingston on Thames in December 2007.  Faith became a Reader following three years training in Southwark Cathedral and was licensed in 2002.  The training included Old and New Testament studies, Theology, church history and much else besides.

The role of a Reader varies enormously, from leading most services, leading the Pastoral Visiting Team and having pastoral responsibilities in local residential homes.

Faith is married with two daughters and (so far) two grandchildren.
