St Martin's Church has been at the heart of Exminster for over 700 years and continues to welcome you with open arms.

Faith Wood was the Pastoral Visitors Team Leader. Our group were originally chosen by the congregation as being people they would like to have as visitors. They underwent a six week training by the Diocese in listening skills and visiting the sick or bereaved among other subjects.

We will visit any one in the parish who is in need of someone to talk to in their own homes, maybe who is lonely or distressed .  They do not need to be a member of the church.   Confidentiality is kept within the Visiting Team.  The group was set up to meet a need in the village, and if people know of anyone who might appreciate a visit, please pass their contact details on to either John Williams or Faith Wood.
